We took the boys to a fancy restaurant thanks to Grandma and Papa's gift card. We fully expected H and G to eat only white rice like they did in Korea. To our surprise, H and G ate a Kobe beef slider with a spicy sauce. G ate tempura shrimp and loved it. To no one's surprise, R devoured expensive oysters and sashimi, though he didn't really care for scallops. All in all it was a successful meal and we will continue to try to get H and G to expand their culinary horizons beyond Five Guys.

Conveyor belt sushi
When we lived in Portland, Richard enjoyed going to "condola belt" sushi. A new place recently opened near us and so Richard and George came along for the ride (George to watch, not to eat). Richard sure is an expensive date!

Skipudgets
Here are Richard and Henry enjoying a respite from a snowy day of skiing last weekend. We didn't get any action shots, but there was a lot of falling since it was our first time out this season. George rocked his ski lesson and went down the bunny slope like a pro!

Krispy Kreme visit
Richard has had a Krispy Kreme craving, which we finally indulged. George loved watching the doughnuts being made, especially when they flipped over. We got fresh donuts and tried out sugar, sprinkles, cinnamon, and sour cream flavors. Yum!
