We took the boys to a fancy restaurant thanks to Grandma and Papa's gift card. We fully expected H and G to eat only white rice like they did in Korea. To our surprise, H and G ate a Kobe beef slider with a spicy sauce. G ate tempura shrimp and loved it. To no one's surprise, R devoured expensive oysters and sashimi, though he didn't really care for scallops. All in all it was a successful meal and we will continue to try to get H and G to expand their culinary horizons beyond Five Guys.

Chilling at Ikea
Mommy loves living so close to Ikea. We get in dinner and then a mini-workout going through the entire store. Last week, Mommy took Georgie there while his brothers were wearing themselves out at SkyZone. He made her sit on all the couches in the fake living rooms, then shouted, "New house!" when it was time to move on to the next one.

Rainbow pudgets
Our trip to the mountains involved rain, snow, and sunshine. We finally made our destination and enjoyed this rainbow during dinner. Tomorrow we hit Leadville and Aspen if all goes according to plan.

Eggs Pudgedict
Richard is our resident foodie and loves trying new things. For example, Mommy took him to a new breakfast place after an early-morning guitar class, and he confidently ordered the eggs benedict, hollandaise on the side, please. He is developing pretty expensive taste for an 11-year-old!

We all scream for fro-yo
Today we took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to grab some frozen yogurt. George had chocolate with sour gummy worms, Swedish fish, and mini M&Ms. Henry had mint chocolate, straight. Richard had a strange concoction involving Fruity Pebbles and raspberries. Amazingly, they finished all of their treats and didn't leave any behind for their parents to finish!

Saltpudget
Georgie has apparently inherited his father's love of raw salt. He like to shake it out onto the table and lick it off his hands. Gross!

Pizza in the Park
Henry asked for pizza tonight, and Mommy and Daddy obliged him. George ripped the cheese off his slice, shoved it all into his mouth, and ate it in one bite. Maybe this is a sign we've been watching too much TMNT...
