Spring break

H and G went to Oregon by themselves for spring break this year. They brought several Pusheens, of course.

Camping trip fail

The boys were supposed to go caving and spend the night at Cave of the Winds, but the trip got canceled at the last minute. Since Mommy had made a nonrefundable hotel reservation for her and Daddy, we decided to go spend the night anyway with Geo. We stayed at Glen Eyrie, a castle estate near Manitou Springs. It was a nice little getaway.

Fall Break Follies

King George commands and we obey. He decreed a stay in an Airstream to match his experience at Baypoint Landing, so we went to Salida to stay at the Amigo Motor Lodge. We booked Francis, the largest option with a queen bed and two bunk beds. R and H were exiled in a regular hotel room.

We had a fun visit to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, where the boys tried to scare their parents with their daredevil sand sledding antics. 

Labor Day

We did an epic hike at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. H and R did 5 miles and the rest of us did 4.
