Fall Break Follies

King George commands and we obey. He decreed a stay in an Airstream to match his experience at Baypoint Landing, so we went to Salida to stay at the Amigo Motor Lodge. We booked Francis, the largest option with a queen bed and two bunk beds. R and H were exiled in a regular hotel room.

We had a fun visit to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, where the boys tried to scare their parents with their daredevil sand sledding antics. 

Labor Day

We did an epic hike at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. H and R did 5 miles and the rest of us did 4.

Getting back outside

With the weather improving, it is time to enjoy the great parks around here.

Parkour Pudget

Geo has been learning Parkour at a local gym. Now he is jumping over park benches and off of play structures. Luckily, he hasn't broken any bones or knocked out any teeth yet. He put his moves to good use at a playground after his class.
