Fall colors

Today we ventured out to the Rockies to see the fall colors and enjoy a beautiful weekend. We drove the Peak-to-Peak scenic byway, stopping at the famous Carousel of Happiness in Nederland and taking a nearly 4-mile hike to Gem Lake in Estes Park. We capped off the evening with some lunar eclipse action. What a weekend!

Later, George started spelling nonsense and asked Mommy what he was spelling. Mommy replied, "brat," jokingly. To which George responded: "No, 'brat' is spelled 'G-E-O-R-G-E'!"

Steamboat Springs

We spent Labor Day weekend at Steamboat Springs. We hiked, rode the gondola, went to an airshow, and went alpine sliding. We had a blast!
