Mt. Falcon Park
We went for a hike at Mt. Falcon Park. After a nearly hourlong drive, we finally arrived in the parking lot, only to hear a small voice from the back seat pipe up, "I don't have my shoes on!" Sure enough, both parental units had thought the other was in charge of shodding Georgie. So we had to go in search of the nearest clothing store, which was 10 miles away. Meanwhile, Georgie also managed to have an accident all over his clothes, so Mommy had to buy him a brand new outfit to boot. Luckily, the hike was worth all the money and time spent giving Georgie a makeover.

Paddleboarding and Biking
Alas, today was the end of camp. Richard's first words to his Daddy were, "I want to go back again next year!"

Out of the mouth of babes
The other night, Mommy and Henry were reading a book that mentioned immigrants. Mommy asked Henry if he knew of any immigrants. After thinking a while, he shouted, "Barack Obama!" Who knew we had a birther in the family?
Summer camp, Day 1
For the price of five weeks of his regular day camp, Richard is going to a one-week adventure camp in the mountains. On the agenda are kayaking, paddleboarding, horseback riding, mountain biking, and rock climbing.
