Mommy loves to put silly hats on us no matter what the occasion. Luckily, since my head is now so big that my hats simply don't fit anymore, Baby Bro bears the brunt of this practice.

Ancient history

Last night at dinner, the following random conversation took place:

Me: I'm thinking about something that's kind of old.

Mommy: What's that, sweetheart?

Me: Grandpa Dave!

Today while Daddy drove me home from school, I overheard him talking on the phone. He said, "It'll be just the four of us." And I chimed in: "And maybe someday a baby sister!"

Yesterday I impressed my teacher by counting from 1 to 100 without a hitch. Later, I astounded Mommy by displaying my knowledge of "3-D shapes," including cylinders and my personal fave, the "triangular prism." Think I'm ready to try solving some differential equations?

Mommy finally got around to clipping Henry's long baby locks. She opted for the standard buzz she's been giving me and Daddy all these years--really, Mommy, haven't you learned anything from watching all those episodes of Shear Genius? At least we now all have matching haircuts!
