Engineering for Pudgets

And here's the video of George's sensor robot.

Back from hiatus!

I recently met with some technical difficulties with the blog, but nothing that could not be surmounted with the help of the Google.  To add more pictures for free (since Mommy is such a cheapskate), I had to come up with a new identity--so now Henry and I are joining forces and blogging collectively as The Pudgets!  Henceforth, we shall be using the "royal we" to refer to ourselves (entirely appropriate given our regal names).

To whet your appetite for new posts, we present the following adorable picture of George that Richard turned into a cute Christmas card for his teacher.

Look out in the coming days for more pictures, we promise!

Love,
Richard & Henry

Technical difficulties

Due to (1) a malfunctioning laptop, (2) a desktop with Vista that is NOT compatible with our camera software, and (3) a lack of a drive to read our memory chip directly, Mommy has been unable to post the incredibly adorable videos of Henry walking. Mommy might have to go spend some money at Best Buy this weekend to fix the problem...

A new look

Today I decided to exercise my artistic skills and redesign the tired old blog. I added a new profile pic and tweaked the color scheme et voila! I hope you enjoy!

Technical difficulties

Mommy's laptop finally crashed and died, so I can't post any pictures for a while. So you'll have to make do with the archives for now, until Santa delivers Mommy a shiny new computer. Sorry, folks!

I'm back!

Hi adoring fans,

I'm sorry I've been silent for a while, but Daddy dragged us on a trip to Pennsylvania to hunt turkeys. As usual, the turkeys outsmarted poor Daddy, but I did get to see one sauntering up Great-Aunt Betsy's driveway on Sunday. I cried, "I'm gonna eat!" when I saw him, but alas, there is no hunting on Sunday, so I had to settle for some roast beef instead.

I'll post some pictures from the trip.

Love,
Pudget

Under the weather

Unfortunately, I caught a nasty bug at Gold's Gym daycare, which I promptly transferred to Mommy as well. Since I don't photograph well with a perpetually runny nose, Mommy has imposed a moratorium on pictures. So you will have to content yourself with the archives.

But just because I'm sick doesn't mean I'm not still cute. Here's yesterday's quote/antic: When Mommy started freaking out about something, I looked at her sternly and admonished, "You need to calm down, Mommy!" That certainly did the trick.

Radio silence

Mommy claims her computer is not working, so I can't get my message out for time being. Talk about prior restraints! (Unfortunately, as I've gathered from reading Mommy's BarBri outline, Mommy probably isn't a state actor, so I'm out of luck under the First Amendment. On a side note, babies should totally be a protected class! But I digress...)

You will not be able to see adorable pictures of me for about a week. But here are a few cute anecdotes I am smuggling in via a co-conspirator (does anyone see a hearsay exemption here?).

I thrilled Mommy and Grandma by demonstrating my dance skills to the bad Muzak at Wendy's the other day. I think I'm ready for "Dancing with the Stars"!

Last night Grandma had some strips of fish cake sitting on the countertop waiting to be rolled up into sushi. While Mommy and Grandma weren't paying any attention, I grabbed a strip, then waved it triumphantly and ran away.

At the market last night, I heard a baby screeching, so I began to screech really loudly, too. And boy, do I have a pair of lungs!

I refused to be put into my carseat on the way home from the market, declaring, "No carseat! Nuri drive!"

I ate a pear for breakfast this morning and remembered that the "Very Hungry Caterpillar" also ate some pears ("Cat-ah-pillah eat peah! Nuri eat peah!"). And you all know what happened to him...

That's all for now, folks. I gotta catch up on my beauty sleep.

Time out

Dear Fans,

Since I will be jetsetting over to my Grandma's house tomorrow, I probably won't have that much time to post this weekend. I know, it's tragic to face such deprivation from my adorable face, but in the meanwhile, I've posted a bunch of goodies to satisfy your daily dose of Pudgetry. Enjoy! (Yes, I know you will...).

Later,
Pudget

Technical difficulties

Dear fans,

Unfortunately, because Mommy broke the camera,* I haven't been able to put up posts with my adorable face on them lately. Daddy thinks it's working now, so I will try to put up some more picture posts after Mommy and Daddy go to bed.

Later,
Richie

* Although Mommy blames me for breaking the camera, I posit that her incompetent attempt to fix it was a supervening event that broke the chain of causation and absolved me of any liability. Besides, kids my age cannot be negligent as a matter of law, though their parents can be liable for negligent supervision. This means I can have a lot of fun for the next few years, and Mommy and Daddy will be on the hook for it...

My first post

Hi adoring fans,

This is my new blog where I tell you about my triumphs and tragedies, trials and tribulations, yada yada. Mostly, I show off how adorable and clever I am (which you already know). Hope you enjoy!

Love,
Richie
