Pictures of Korea - Day 13 (Seoul)

On our last day in Korea, we took the bullet train from Busan to Seoul and then headed to Incheon for the return flight. Korea was awesome. We can't wait to go again!

We started the day at the Busan Sea Life Aquarium in Haeundae, then hiked up to Yongdusan Park to try to find old guys playing go but were disappointed to see they were playing Chinese chess instead. We hung out at Twosome Place, our favorite cafe, to cool down and Geo spent the afternoon hanging out in a jacuzzi. We capped off the day at Line Friends, of course, where Mommy indulged her Shooky obsession.

We spent the rest of our trip in Busan. We started the day at Haedong Yonggusa temple, but it was so hot that we only had energy to go to Line Friends after that.

Pictures of Korea - Day 10 (Jindo)

The kids' number one request for things to do in Korea was to pet a baby Jindo. So off we went to Jindo. A very nice innkeeper showed us around the town and even gave us some Jindo whiskey to boot. We visited the Jindo dog theme park and got to pet the most adorable puppies and watch some quasi-cooperative dogs perform in a show. We also got to visit a beautiful artist retreat. Geo finally found Chicken Sally at the bus station in Gwangju, so the day was quite successful.

On our last day in Jeollanamdo, we went to the celadon museum in Gangjin followed by a fun afternoon at Wolchulsan Gichan Land, a Korean water park.

They were the most underdressed kids at the park. Everyone else was covered up head to toe.

We spent the morning exploring Sinan, the birthplace of Lee Sedol. We then had a pro game with commentary. Henry answered a question and won a Kakao friends keyboard! Finally, we went to an amazing award ceremony with traditional singing and dancing. Sally came along for the ride.
