We decided to return to Steamboat Springs for our second Labor Day in a row. We stayed
here, as vividly memorialized by George:
|
At age 5, George's handwriting already surpasses his father's. |
It rained on Saturday, which shut down the gondola and alpine slide, so we hung out in Gondola Square with our new friend, whom George named
Ice Bear.
|
Not as cuddly as the ginormous Costco bear we are always nagging Mommy to buy... |
It was all fun and games until George jumped into some water and required us to buy him some new underwear, shorts, socks, and shoes. It was
deja-vu all over again.
Then we went on a short hike to Fish Creek Falls, where we
refused to
pose properly for Mommy.

|
Best buds, as usual. |
|
Lonely at the top |
|
Don't look down! |
We ate at a cute diner and then headed back to our "place that's not a hotel because it doesn't have breakfast" (according to George, all hotels have breakfast).
