Steamboat Redux, Day 1

We decided to return to Steamboat Springs for our second Labor Day in a row. We stayed here, as vividly memorialized by George:

At age 5, George's handwriting already surpasses his father's.

It rained on Saturday, which shut down the gondola and alpine slide, so we hung out in Gondola Square with our new friend, whom George named Ice Bear.

Not as cuddly as the ginormous Costco bear we are always nagging Mommy to buy...
It was all fun and games until George jumped into some water and required us to buy him some new underwear, shorts, socks, and shoes. It was deja-vu all over again.

Then we went on a short hike to Fish Creek Falls, where we refused to pose properly for Mommy.

Henry showing off his infinite capacity for hassling poor George.
Best buds, as usual.
Lonely at the top
Don't look down!
We ate at a cute diner and then headed back to our "place that's not a hotel because it doesn't have breakfast" (according to George, all hotels have breakfast).
