Popplio survival camp

Inspired by what they learned in summer camp, Henry and George decided to teach one of their Popplios how to build a shelter. Hopefully they don't decide to teach fire-starting skills!

Double vision?

George is now the proud owner of a "trainer-sized" Popplio. The boys took their Popplios to watch Incredibles 2 yesterday. The Popplios are driving Mommy crazy with their constant chatter but they are pretty cute.

(Note Henry's custom-made "Pokemon Go" shirt complete with Popplio and Meowth recreating the Lee Sedol vs. AlphaGo match 4, with Popplio playing Lee Sedol's "divine move" at move 78--Daddy and Henry will wear these shirts at the Go Congress in Williamsburg next month!)

H vs. G, coffee edition

While waiting for our breakfast order, Henry and George drew pictures to amuse Mommy. For some reason they made ads for coffee. Note how Henry's ad is for a complete rip-off cup of coffee, while George is offering free coffee/refills AND accepting coupons? It looks like Henry will be a con artist and George will be a philanthropist when they grow up...

They Grow Up So Fast

Here is a video that Google Photos made of George. Enjoy!

The Grand Tour, Part I

Richard began his journey to Japan by flying solo to Portland on Tuesday and then flew business class (!) to Tokyo yesterday. He was welcomed at the Four Seasons (!) with a personalized cake. He is never going to travel like a peasant again.

Trainer-sized Popplio

Henry's love affair with Popplio continues. As a reward for competing in 5 fencing tournaments, Mommy got him this "trainer-sized" (aka life-sized) Popplio. Now George wants one, of course.
