BBB antics

BBB (Bradley Boris Bartholomew) the Bat continues to be a bbbeloved member of the family. Henry and Mommy love to take "candids" of him (maybe not so candid because he is an inanimate object). Here are some of the highlights.

The Pudgets' California Adventure, Part VII

On our last day, we headed back to SF to visit Alcatraz. While waiting for our ferry, we hung out at the Maritime Museum and toured some ships. All in all, it was a fun trip but exhausting to do so much driving. Maybe our next vacation should be a cruise...

The Pudgets' California Adventure, Part VI

We spent our penultimate day in California at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and capped it off with the amazing 17-Mile Drive, where we saw a cute sea otter and myriad fat and lazy harbor seals.

We checked out a fairly new national park on the way to Monterey--Pinnacles. We got to climb into a cave with a waterfall running through it, which was cool but terrifying. We were hoping to see some bats but they were still hibernating.

The Pudgets' California Adventure, Part IV

During our second day in SF, we hit the California Academy of Sciences and saw some penguins and butterflies. We also finally made it to Muir Woods. Everywhere we went was crawling with people (and bats).

The Pudgets' California Adventure, Part III

We left the national parks and ventured toward San Francisco. We stayed within spitting distance of where Mommy used to have to travel for work 20 years ago (South San Francisco). We hung out at Fort Baker when we found out we needed reservations to go to Muir Woods. We also checked out Sausalito, Tiburon, and Belvedere Island.

We left for Sequoia National Park but got there too late to see any of the big trees by daylight. We had to use a cell phone flashlight to see General Sherman. Next, we headed to Yosemite and hiked to Yosemite Falls. (Mommy forgot to take pictures of anything except BBB, unfortunately.)

The Pudgets' California Adventure, Part I

We began our California adventure by being unceremoniously dumped by our parents, who high-tailed it out of there to go to Palm Springs. Meanwhile, we enjoyed being spoiled with a trip to the Line Friends store in Hollywood. We got tons of new Line Friends merch for Christmas.
