Planes, trains, and automobiles

In addition to luggage, notebooks, and old credit cards, George is obsessed with all modes of transportation, especially cars and trucks. He loves to point out the different ones he sees ("Lincoln alert!" he says whenever one goes by after Mommy told him you hardly see these anymore). As a reward for being good, Mommy takes him to car dealerships so he can check out the cars. He loves to turn on the emergency blinkers to activate the "dotty arrows" or other turn signals. (Yup, he is still into turn signals!) Mommy thinks he has a future as a car salesman.

CBK

Henry completed his second summer of CBK, which is now at Boulder. He studied Android programming, a thinly veiled excuse to get Mommy to buy him a new tablet.

Bring your Pop to Work Day

In honor of George's 7th birthday, Mommy finally agreed to bring Ginormapop to her office.

Mommy and Daddy rolled the dice on George being mature enough to go to cello camp. The results are mixed so far. He is doing well in his master class and technique class but is refusing to participate in his enrichment Dalcroze class. At least he is enjoying sightseeing during his off hours, especially "Daddy's greatest hits" (including old schools, childhood homes and even the Burger King where he used to work).

Here is a highlight reel + animation.
