Henry and Daddy spent a few nights at Cub Scout camp last week. Richard is going to Boy Scout camp next week. Mommy is counting the days until George gets to go to sleepaway camp, too!

We are going to be spending a week at this ski resort for a music summit for Richard. Here are highlights from our first day.

George has been obsessed with electricity lately--plugs, sockets, power lines, traffic lights, you name it. He is also very interested in cars and trucks. Here are some manifestations of this latest obsession:

Singin' in the Rain

Mommy signed Richard up for a two-week drama camp just for kicks--and kick he did, telling us she had "ruined his summer" and this was the worst idea ever. A few days ago he admitted he kinda-sorta liked drama camp, and Mommy was only the "second-worst mother ever."

Last night was his first of two performances as "Audience Member #2" (a pivotal role, according to Richard, because his heckling starts a chain of events that leads to the villain being unmasked as a fraud and the two lovers being reunited). He sang, dance, and heckled his heart out, and it was a terrific show!
