Beach Buddies

Rake's progress

George has been making himself useful, both because he likes to rake and because he is getting paid by the pound.

He reminds us of his brothers from years past:

Art of the Pest

While his brothers are lounging on the beach in Oregon, Geo (as his brothers affectionately call him) was hanging out at the Denver Art Museum having fun and enjoying the kid-friendly arts and crafts.

Indian Summer

The weather has been quite lovely lately, as you can see from George's antics at the neighborhood playground.

Author's tea, Henry edition

This year was Henry's turn to do an author's tea. He presented a story about our alpine sliding adventure in Steamboat. Here are the highlights:

It was another beautiful weekend. We did a little hike at Mt. Falcon, where we went two years ago. Richard was tired from a Boy Scout outing, so it was just the younger brothers this time.

Bromance - highlight reel

Outlet mall antics

Today we ventured to the outlet mall because Henry's shoes were literally falling apart. Luckily, the mall has so much more than the usual boring stores, as Henry is ably demonstrating here:

Today we went to a "Punkin Chunkin" and watched trebuchets and cannons launch pumpkins up to 4000 feet away. We ate lots of overpriced food and generally caused trouble, as we usually do at such affairs.

Check out this animation and these pictures:

"Homework"

George's latest fad is to do fake "homework," which entails writing in notebooks he filches from his brothers. Henry has been helping him with drawings of George's favorite stuffed animals. Here are some samples:
