Check out our tats--the first two are Mommy's feeble attempt at making Plants vs. Zombies art. The third is Henry's own creation. Don't worry--they're washable!

"All I need is love"
Today, Richard brought home a very sweet essay on Valentine's Day that Mommy wanted to share with everyone:
Love looks like the burning glare of the campfire in the early morning.
Love sounds like the sound of my brother playing video games.
Love feels like George grasping my finger tightly.
Love tastes like fondue dinner that my mother prepared herself.
Love is the best thing in the world!

Chopped liver?
The following conversation took place yesterday in the kitchen before Richard went to a birthday party for twins in his grade:
Henry: Why don't I get to go to the party?
Mommy: Because it's for Richard's friends. They don't know you.
Henry (indignantly): Then why didn't Richard tell them about me?

Snowflakes
Since it doesn't snow very often in Portland, Henry decided to make his own snowflakes out of popsicle sticks!
Before and after
Georgie is famous for freaking out when he doesn't get his way.
Here he is, gleefully reaching for the camera.
And here he is right after Mommy jerked it away.
Sleepyheads
The only one who can get Georgie to fall asleep is Daddy, and as it turns out, Georgie is pretty good at getting Daddy to fall asleep, too!
