Nostradamus Pudget

Last weekend at OMSI, Mommy was reading an article about the Cascadia earthquake that's supposed to happen in our area.  When we asked her when the earthquake would come, she said, "It could be tomorrow, or it could be in 200 years.  We just don't know when it will happen."

The next morning, Henry solemnly announced to Daddy, "Daddy, there's either going to be an earthquake today, or it's going to be in 200 years."

Later that evening, after a day with no earthquake, he decided the coast was clear: "Daddy, I think the earthquake is going to be in 200 years!"

Pushing buttons

At the home show a few months ago, I was pushing random buttons on every hot tub on display, to the vendors' chagrin.  After mommy chided me to stop pushing the buttons, I chimed in, "Except yours?"

Cute observations

Henry has been on a roll lately.  Here are his cutest recent observations:

1) Henry:  How much younger than you is your brother?
Mom:  About 7 years.
Henry:  Then he's 27 years old!
Mom:  How did you know that?
Henry (triumphantly):  MATH!!!

2) Henry (looking at George):  Remember last summer, when our lives were so much easier?

Water fight

Today, while Daddy toiled with the leaves and Mommy endured a wiggly George, we had a blast playing with our squirt toys.

Happy Halloween!

Last week we went trick-or-treating with Grandma & Papa.  Henry rejected all three of his new costumes in favor of my old Obi-Wan costume.  I rocked my Scribblenauts costume, which arrived just in the nick of time from the Internet.  Georgie was Santa Claus because Mommy couldn't find his devil hat.  We had a great time, and now we have tons more sugar to fuel us in the coming months!
