Oxbow Regional Park

Today, Daddy wanted to try something new, so we checked out Oxbow Regional Park on the Sandy River.  We had a picnic, hung out at the playground, and hit the beach.  Yet another great weekend during the brief sunny season here in Portland!

Flat Stanley project

I've been reading Flat Stanley at school, so I got to take him home for a week and hang out with him.  Here are some pictures of our adventures!

Mt. Tabor Park

Yesterday we hung out at Mt. Tabor Park, which is on a volcano in Portland.  We asked Mommy a hundred times whether it would erupt while we were on it.  Luckily, it didn't!

Birdwatchers, Part II

Birdwatchers, Part I

Each year in September, a flock of Vaux's swifts come to roost every evening in the chimney of Chapman school in Northwest Portland.  We hung out there this evening to watch the show and run off some extra energy.  Then we went and got some delicious treats nearby!

Clap-happy

George sometimes erupts into spontaneous clapping.  We have no idea what he's so happy about, because usually he is very crabby about something.  Maybe he is happy that he causes so much trouble, even more so than I did at his age!  How very precocious of him...
